Important: All user-generated content is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store your fishing logs, catch records, or personal data on our servers.

- Record catch locations in your fishing log
- Select fishing spots on the map
- Provide weather forecasts for your current or selected location
- Plan trips to specific fishing spots
When you use location features, your GPS coordinates may be sent to third-party services (weather and mapping providers listed in Section 3) to retrieve relevant data. Your location data is stored locally on your device and is not collected or stored on our servers.

4. Local Data Storage
The App stores various types of data locally on your device:
- User preferences and app settings
- Catch logs and fishing records (including photos)
- Trip history and planned trips
- Statistics and personal achievements
- Cached weather data for offline use
- Last used location for convenience
This data is stored using secure local storage mechanisms provided by your device's operating system. Your fishing data never leaves your device except when location coordinates are sent to weather/mapping services as described above. You can clear all local data by using the "Clear All Data" option in the App's settings or by uninstalling the App.
5. Camera and Photos
The App may access your device's camera or photo library for the following purposes:
- Catch Photos: You may select photos from your device to attach to catch records. These photos are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to any server.
- Support Reports: When using the contact form within the App, you may use your camera to capture photos to include in support requests. These photos are only transmitted when you actively submit the contact form.
6. Features That May Be Added
The App may include or add the following features in future updates:
Calendar and Reminders
The App may allow you to save events and reminders to your device's system calendar for:
- Scheduled fishing trip reminders
- Optimal bite-time notifications
- Moon phase alerts
When used, all calendar data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications for fishing conditions, reminders, or other relevant updates. You can control notification preferences through your device settings.
Activity Tracking
The App may allow you to track fishing-related activities such as distance traveled and time spent fishing. This data would be stored locally on your device only.
7. Advertising and Tracking
The App collects your device's Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android) for the following purposes:
- Attribution analytics to understand how users discover and install the App
- Measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- Analytics and app improvement
Opt-Out: You can limit ad tracking or reset your Advertising ID through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID"
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
8. Data Retention
- Local Data: Your fishing records, preferences, and other local data are retained on your device until you delete them through the App's settings or uninstall the App.
- Analytics Data: Data collected by third-party analytics services is retained according to their respective privacy policies and data retention practices.
- No Server Storage: We do not store your personal fishing data, catch records, or photos on our servers.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You have the following rights and choices regarding your data:
- Access: View all data stored by the App on your device through the App interface
- Correction: Edit or update your fishing records and personal data at any time
- Deletion: Delete individual records or all App data using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings
- Permissions: Control app permissions (location, camera, etc.) through your device settings at any time
- Opt-Out of Tracking: Disable or reset your Advertising ID through device settings as described in Section 7
- Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent by uninstalling the App or contacting us
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
- All data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms
- No personal fishing data is transmitted to or stored on our servers
- All network communications use encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- We regularly review and update our security practices
11. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
